I am a ceramics artist living in Brooklyn. I throw and trim stoneware pottery on the wheel and individually paint and carve each piece off the wheel. I am influenced by my grandmother JoAnn Greenberg, a visual artist who produced ceramics in her New Orleans home and emphasized the fun in making pots. I draw inspiration from the colors, shapes, and vibrance of my urban environment from where I find comfort. I am also inspired by the freedom and therapeutic qualities unique to the ceramics process.
